Eight New Recipients in Utah

On December 1st, 2012 Drs. Aaron Hofmann, Trevor Magee, and Jeremy McCandless performed free hip and knee replacements to eight Utahans in need. Salt Lake Regional Medical Center donated facilities for surgery and recovery of patients. Local medical and administrative professionals volunteered time and expertise to conduct the proceedings on all levels.

Device manufacturers Biomet, DePuy, MAKOplasty® Surgical System, Smith &Nephew, Stryker, Total Joint Orthopedics (TJO), Inc., and Zimmer donated the hip and knee implants. Ortech Data, Inc. provided a complimentary data system for Operation Walk USA patients.
